So many getting over hyped up.
Tonight from what I've seen,we didn't even show up ,no plan b through to z. Under ole I thought we were suppose to attack constantly. Didn't see any of that in highlights.

PSG showed there depth, and again certain players no showed and when you got young at RB ,you can't say your on way back up
Come on mate, all we've been reading over the last 6 weeks is "United are back, Ole has them playing the "United way", top 4 and winning the FA Cup and Champions League could happen .. they are a real force" .... POP!!

Young has been your full back for 3 years now, you can't go blaming that, 3 managers have had a chance to replace him and haven't so you can't blame him.

I only saw the last 15 minutes but you were beaten by a PSG team without 3 guaranteed starters, they didn't even play a proper striker!

This post was started by you on 17th Jan saying it’s your year and I’m celebrating early

It is far from over mate but the reaction from your fans, Liverpool pundits and Flopp suggest you all believe it is

Klopp should go, he promised you the title within 4 years and if he doesnt succeed this year, he’s failed!

He says some strange things after games in the interviews but you can't argue that the team has done brilliantly this season. Our defensive record speaks for itself and the only reason we're not 1st is because we're up against a world-class squad/team, managed by a world-class manager, funded by billionaire owners. Any other year we would be miles out in front.

I did create this thread because there's no other discussions on this site anymore outside of NFL/Madden. Obviously the title was designed to draw people in and give their opinion, and it's Liverpool's hilarious catch-phrase!

I'll be the 1st to admit when we've played rubbish. We played rubbish yesterday and the Sunday before. Away form is a huge concern. Defensively no issues but Salah was the reason we didn't return to the top of the league. He wasted two great chances.

Still all to play for...

Always a mention of our money ... same with all Liverpool fans who seem to forget you hold the world record for both transfer for a defender, £75m and well worth it, and £70m for a keeper who honestly I believe is a big improvement on Mignolet but is very over-rated.  And all you ever throw back is "net spent" blah blah blah!

Klopp has failed to deliver if you don't win the league, your midfield has been poor for years and lacks creativity, you depend on your front 3 and Salah appears to be showing last year was a fluke season where everything bounced his way and he took it.

There is a long, long way to go, we have so many games to play in all competitions with the potential of another Prem game being midweek if we make semi's of FA Cup in 2 weeks time, your main worry is if you fail to take those chances to put pressure back on us then you'll fade away, the belief will go and you'll drop more and more points ... and then you'd have the issue in the summer of players wanting to go to a big Club Razz Razz Razz

Re: IT'S OUR YEAR!!

The money is always mentioned because it's so relevant! Literally millions and millions of pounds ploughed into the club since Sheik Mansour came through, is it 10 years ago? I'm not denying we've not been spending because we have but not to the same extent and certainly not over the same period of time. Don't forget, we sold Coutinho for £140-150m which essentially funded both of the two large transfers you mentioned. #NetSpent Smile

Klopp hasn't won a trophy for us yet, which is disappointing, but he's got us competing again at least which is something us L'pool fans have only had in 13/14, 08/09 in recent times. The fact we our only weakness is our midfield shows how far we've come after last season when the defence was being criticised every week (quite rightly). Even so, we only need one attacking midfielder in the summer and maybe a centre-back/full-back for depth.

It's important to note that despite Salah's wastefulness in recent times, he's still bagged 17 this season in the league, only topped by your lad, Aguero. Mane by the way isn't far off with 14 so to call his season last year a 'fluke' is a tad harsh. It's certainly not been as prolific as last season but it was always going to be tough repeating such an incredible tally of goals, especially when all opposition will be wary of his strengths and weaknesses now!

But yes, as you say, there's a long way to go. 27 points still to play for I believe? It would be difficult to imagine both teams not dropping points between now and the season finale. I do think Liverpool have the harder fixture list although we don't have any other tricky away games, at least on paper.

Andy Cannon does look promising at just 22 years of age. He could be the next Patrick Berger.
