Week 3 Game Reports

Post by GeordieAlfie on Thu 13 Dec 2018, 7:15 am

Cincinnati Bengals 7 Buffalo Bills 31

The Bills eased to victory against a Bengals team that offered very little. Nick Foles had a very mediocre day, fumbling on the first play of the game, which was recovered by Matt Milano at the visitors' 7 yard line. Le'Veon Bell then ran the ball in from 7 yards on the next play, and the home team didn't really look back from then. The only high point from a Bengals perspective was when Terrance Williams beat the Bills' secondary over the top on a 67 yard TD, but by then this only reduced the score to 21-7, as a further TD from Bell and a couple from Martavis Bryant gave the Bills a welcome victory. Steven Hauschka added a FG to complete the scoring.

MVP for the day was Bell, who dominated the visitors with 34 carries for 151 yards and 2 scores.

Sounds like your fortunes are changing since last season, Alfie son! Draft and trades done you good!?

Also, when and how did you acquire Le'Veon Bell!?

I wouldn't go that far. This was just a game against the cpu so I'm not getting ahead of myself. As for Bell, he was available in free agency and I spent a lot of my cap room in securing his services. If he can rack up numbers like that every week, I won't mind, but that probably won't be the case.
