I haven't got it yet, but believe some will have it today (and have seen someone already playing yesterday or the day before). So please put your impression in here.

I am installing the update now.

I’ll have a warm-up game on All-Pro, then throw it straight into Franchise and see what I can find.

Playing the Chiefs online, the speed and Mahomes Throw Power are going to make them difficult to stop.

Hill blew past Jason McCourty (92 speed) with 10 yards separation at the line, and he finished 10 yards past him for a 75 yard TD.

Lots of improvements though. Line play, QB calls are more realistic at the LOS

Other impressions: Servers not great. 3 incompleted games.

DBs still miss the ball a lot on deep shots.

Returns are good fun.

Rushing the QB is a little easier. WRs sometimes get open easier but sometimes are blanketed.

Some play results seem entirely random. Almost impossible.

I like the new depth chart positions. I’ve barely had to modify a position in a formation yet

First game 6-3 All madden

Finally when you put no visual aids its means none at all, tackle box goes even no kicking arc.
FG and punting is finally a challenge .I got 2/2 FG with Wind too.

Running in general has changed a lot,you push slightly too much left stick he plants foot in ground thats without R2. Needs to be smooth mostion.

Passing you need to know what your doing, blocking extra if line sucks, using line protection and ID mike.
Check down there for a reason at times.

Run game i suggest you tape finger away from R2 unless open space.I had ro work hard for yards

Thats first impression game, pats not great run block so was hard.

Nothing major jumped out yet

I hear that the DBs play is not good? How is the speed/lag also heard a lot of negative news about that.

Well I do have the game but have only had a chance to play one game, which was the preseason game vs the Giants which I lost 14-17. I found running virtually impossible - getting back to the LoS was something of a triumph. I also threw several picks but didn't get one myself. And the backup QB for the Giants was something like 14/17.

Can't say I enjoyed it much but I say the same every year. I did find the running slow - like they were running through treacle.

Funny you say that.

I had an online game with the Rams earlier.

I found running with Gurley difficult and he seemed slow when I went to bounce outside or accelerating into a hole

Then I ran with Goff and it was like Usain Bolt.

I do like the challenge in running
Especially rewarding when you pull a big one off.

My advice before even going into ratings.

Practice with your hand not touching R2 until past line not scrimmage in open space.

If your really struggling and are honest bout not touching R2 and finding right gaps and read. .

Then check if your line good.Run Block power and run block finesse work for different runs.also against Pmoves and finesse and shed

I have say I'm enjoying it and all Madden with and without sliders.

QB slider is at 20-25 cpu
Rest all 40 Cpu

User not touched.

I'm liking the gameplay so far, the more I play, the more I see the difference. Injuries seem to happen s lot regardless of injury rating.

All madden difficulty was fun to play also. The cpu beat me but I didn't feel cheated. They were just better instead of my players being dumbed down to create difficulty. Eli was a bit too automatic though, only 2 incomplete passes all game and one of them he intentionally threw away.

O also really like the skill point progression compared to the previous xp. The only downside is that for some positions, the attribute distribution isn't reflective of the archetype you choose to upgrade. It's hard to change a player to fit your scheme for wrs, qbs and lbs (4-3) because each attribute increases the overall rating for the other archetypes too.

I summed a few seasons and Michael Gallup finished with 13 skill points. I put every point into red zone threat but everytime I did, his original possession scheme rating also went up

A lot of the same to me quite frankly.

o-line play is still shitty as i see my guys spacing out for whatever reason letting defenders have a free run into the backfield.

PA seems to let receivers get behind defenders on a streak.
Jimmy smith got burned a few times like this.

new skill point stuff makes no sense and its going to really hamper you in building a team.
only 1 scheme fits a scrambling QB and gl finding the o-liners and such to go with it.
not to mention there is no playbook fit for it lol.

lbers in the 3-4 defense make little sense.

should have more freedom to adjust this.

new positions are intresting although i dont think it works really well as when i go to the formation subs i see 1 guy playing 2 positions at the same time....

wind is still broken...

kicking is intresting.

ill do some more labbing.
