Week 14 Game reports

Buffalo @ Seattle

The Seattle Seahawks hosted the Buffalo Bills looking to build on last weeks victory over Divisional rivals, Sanfrancisco, and also generate some momentum as we head into the final few weeks of the season.

Following a three and out by Russell Wilson's offensive unit, the Bills looked sharp early on establishing the run. A 53 yard pass from Taylor to the reliable Jordan Matthews suddenly had Buffalo on the brink of the red zone. Unfortunately, Wayne Coats then picked off Taylor for his 4th INT of the season and returned it 70 yards for six points.

A dismayed Tyrod Taylor realised he had no choice but to dust himself down and start again. It wasn't long before he'd thrown another INT, straight into the hands of Bobby Wagner, who gratefully collapsed to the floor. The Seahawks quickly converted their advantageous field position into points after Thomas Rawls galloped into the end zone.

3rd time's the charm, eh? No interception this time, but the Bills were forced to punt back to Seattle's 45. A 20 yard TD pass to Tyler Lockett from Wilson increased the Seahawk's lead. Possession then went back and forth before a final charge from Buffalo earned them a precious FG opportunity to leave the half-time score at 20-3.

The Bills started the 2nd half very well with Taylor enjoying plenty of completed passes to his receivers for good yardage. The score was soon 20-10 after a 45 TD pass from Taylor to Zay Jones, bringing the Bills hope for a positive result yet.

Fully aware of a possible momentum change, the Seahawks offensive put emphasis on chewing the clock and playing smart football. A decent drive resulted in 3 more points after a successful FG from 44 yards. More good defensive work from the 'Hawks allowed their offense to generate another red zone opportunity. Thomas Rawls, followed up his hat-trick of TDs last week, weaved his way into the end zone once again.

A failed 2-point conversation later and the Bills were back in possession and without their leading rusher, Keith Marshall. Step forward, LeSean McCoy. Shady swiftly showed why he is one of the quickest and talented backs in the NFL, shredding the Hawks defence at times for big gains. Late in the 4th, this allowed Taylor to hook up with Dixon Nawrath for a gorgeous play-action 32 yard catch and run to provide the Bills with some comfort as the scoreline closed to a 12 point gap.

Thomas Rawls then was forced off the field injured for the remainder of the game leaving many fans with faces of concern. Paul McGee, as the reliable back-up allowed Seattle to close out the game.

Buffalo 17 - 29 Seattle

Ravens - Jags

Great running game with stiffiling defense where to much for the jags.

TO for half time was the difference as the gap became to wide.
