Atlanta @ Oakland

From a pick 6 on their opening drive to QB Cooper Rush's game ending injury this was a game of woe for Oakland, after a close 1st half the Atlanta D stiffened in the 2nd period picking off backup Conner Fox twice,Julio Jones grabbed 5 for 207 yards and 2 touchdowns

Kansas City 0-31 Cleveland

A surprisingly lacklustre performance from the Chiefs on Thursday night football saw the Browns wrap up victory by the interval enabling the TV audience at home to decamp for an early night.

It wasn't a bright start by either team but the Browns had two three and outs on their first two drives before Bradford hooked up with Njoku on an unlikely 73 yd catch and run to open the scoring.

Into the seond quarter and Darius jackson, standing in on punt return duty for Jabrill Peppers, did his prospects of keeping the job no harm with a 79 yard punt return TD; Latavius Murray then ran in from around the 10
yd line and finally rookie Bryant Maxey, standing in for Sanchez Travis, who had been knocked out of the game caught an 18 yd catch and run to send the Browns in 28-0 at the half.

The second half was something of a non-event, as Cleveland kept the Chiefs offense at bay. P Taylor Bates had a busy evening, punting on no fewer than 8 occasions.

The Browns now head into their bye week, with KC facing off at Denver in a divisional matchup, where they will be hoping to return to winning ways.

No Hiero, no party!

Jordan Howard and I didn't agree on how the game should be played.
