Week 11 Reports

Post by GeordieAlfie on Wed 04 Apr 2018, 7:04 pm

New York Jets 7 Buffalo Bills 16

The Bills snapped their losing streak at last, courtesy of a pick 6 from rookie linebacker Quayshawn Richards and 3 field goals from Steve Hauschka as once again the Buffalo offence struggled to make headway. Things didn't start well for the Bills when RB Keith Marshall got injured on their first offensive play, but Lesean McCoy was able to step in and have a reasonable game. The only Jets score came from a 76 yard bomb to Randall Cobb which surprised the home defence on a 3rd & 12. Garoppolo threw 2 other picks to go with his pick 6 and largely had a game to forget. Tyrod Taylor managed not to throw any interceptions for a change, but still turned the ball over via a fumble.

Cleveland 31-0 Miami

The Browns came into this game low on confidence after receiving a drubbing against Arizona in Week 10, while the Dolphins had blown away the NY Jets. They needn't have worried as AJ McCarron and his receiving corps turned in a stinker of a performance. McCarron seemed incapable of hitting a cow's backside with a banjo and even when he did, his receivers invariably dropped the ball. A stale running game saw Joetavious Gregory go nowhere, except for one 50 yard run, which was wasted immediately as McCarron threw a pick to CB Watts Wooden.

Meanwhile, a combination of running from Latavius Murray, standing in for injured Isaiah Crowell and accurate passing from Sam Bradford, saw the Browns pick the Dolphins defense apart. The 4th quarter became a clock-chewing exercise as the home fans headed for the parking lot.

Ravens - Hawks

Pretty defensive game with the ravens getting turnovers at the right time to take the win.
Could have gone either way.
Both team sucks at kicking btw lol
