Week 12 Game Reports

Post by GBDawg1 on Fri 27 Oct 2017, 2:11 pm

Cleveland 20-17 Cincinnati

The Browns escaped from Paul Brown Stadium with a last-gasp win as Zane Gonzalez kicked a short FG to leave just 6 seconds on the clock. Cleveland, whose offense had looked out of sorts all day, with Latavius Murray being marshalled by the Bengals' front 7 and Sam Bradford having a mostly wild day, had appeared dead and buried at times, trailling 14-0 and then 17-7. But 13 4th quarter unanswered points, which came courtesy of stellar work by the Browns' defensive front line, enabled the visitors to eke out the win and give themselves a little breathing room over their chasing divisional rivals.

It didn't look as though that would be the case, as first Vontaze Burfict smashed Latavius Murray, forcing the fumble, which was cooped by by RE Michael Johnson, who trundled off 39 yards for the score. This was soon followed up by a 58 yard bomb to speedy rookie John Ross to widen the gap. The Browns had lost Corey COleman in between this to injury and a clearly-rattled Sam Bradford was not on his game.

But the Browns closed the gap before the break to 14-17, courtesy of a Bradford pass to Sammie Coates. The home team increased their lead to 10 when Kai Forbath hit 50 yd FG in the 3rd quarter, before the late fightback by the Browns in the final period. This included an early Gonzalez FG, Kenny Britt's first TD catch of the season to level the scores and finally Gonzalez's last-gasp FG, before a last-second heave-ho from Andy Dalton was picked off by Derrick Kindred to bring The Battle of Ohio to a conclusion.

Ravens - Texans

Pretty much a defensive battle where everything felt the ravens way in terms of turnovers.
Kizer had his first good game.
Watson will be scratching his head going forward.
Texans got a strong defense to lean on for the time being.

The Raiders are beating the broncos by a score of 27 24 and are now 7-4.
in the next month I ll do my best and start to create some videos of the games.
The silver and black is looking forward to play the giants and maybe try to move to 8 and 4.
