Week 11 Reports

Jacksonville 3-23 Cleveland

The Jaguars came into Cleveland on the back of a 51-21 trouncing of the LA Chargers and started as though they intended to to the same thing to the Browns, as Blake Bortles picked apart the Browns's defense on their opening drive. But the drive stalled in the red zone, with the Jags having to settle for a Myers field goal.

The Browns were unable to respond on their first possession but the Jacksonville opening drive proved to be their high point of the game as the Cleveland defense began to get into Bortles' face. The Jags' lead lasted until the second quarter, but a combination of 3 Gonzales field goals and touchdowns by rookie TE Njoko and 2nd string TE Cajuste were complemented by picks from Christian Kirksey and William Gay, along with 5 sacks, 2 of which were registered by MVP Kirksey.

The Browns now face Cincinnati in a key game as Baltimore continue to struggle with their rookie QB, signed in a surprising deadline day deal with Cleveland.
