Week 8 Reports

Post by GBDawg1 on Wed 11 Oct 2017, 9:33 pm

Minnesota 43-7 Cleveland

The Browns' first regular season game in London proved to be a disaster as the impressive Vikings handed out a total thrashing to the team that had laughably sat in #1 spot in the AFC before kick-off. With Cody Kessler and Isaiah Crowell both out injured, DeShone Kizer was again starting and posted an unbelievable 0.00 QB rating as he had a game he wished he could forget, but probably won't as he posted no fewer than 9 interceptions.

Kizer was eventually benched in the third quarter in favour of Kevin Hogan, who stepped into the fray and promptly threw a pick with his first passing attempt. He weighed in with another two for good measure, as the Browns suffered an embarrassing beating. On the first series of the game, it had all started quite promising when Jabrill Peppers picked off Teddy Bridgewater on the Vikings' first series, but rapidly went downhill and the game was effectively over as a contest early in the 2nd quarter.

The rumour mill had claimed that veteran coach George Dawg had invested in a strong pair of incontinence pants before this matchup and doubtless they were put to good use. Who can stop the Vikings?  On this showing, it won't be easy.

Raiders @ Bills

The Raiders win with a last minute TD.
They won the game with 10:3. Both Ds played extremly and generated about 10 sacks.
Amari Cooper was the hero when he caught the final throw over 55 yards and pushed his way 4 yards in the endzone.
I'm glad that I can take part in your league and i hope to play some great matches here.

The Indianapolis Colts win their first game of the season after completely destroying the Bengals in their own back yard.

The Colts secondary restricted Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Andy Dalton to just 81 yards on 19 attempts and 2 interceptions with AJ Green not able to make a single catch during the game(first time this season).

The Colts offense pummeled the Bengals into submission with HB Robert Turbin clocking up 139 yards on 22 carries with 1 TD.

44 year old Colts kicker Adam Vinatieri was the star of the show kicking six field goals.

Colts take the win 25-3.

The Colts take on Houston in week 9 and have Andrew Luck available for the first time since the first half of the week 1 loss to the Rams.

Ravens - Dolphins

Poor fans where treated with complete utter failure by both offense as the game only had 1 offense TD.
Cutler and Flacco did their best to proof who was the worse QB and Cutler would not be denied.

The first quarter was both teams giving each other the ball.

The ravens then opened the score with their only good drive in the 2nd quarter and then added another 1 when mosley tipped a pass and then caught it and returned it for a TD.

Flacco also gave up a safety.

Rest of the game the dolphins added a FG and that was about it for the offenses lol.

Owner of the 19-0 season Very Happy
