Sliders

Post by GBDawg1 on Sat 16 Sep 2017, 12:43 am

There has been a lot of discussion over the last few days regarding the sliders and the game level.

We have toned the sliders down and for now intend to leave the game on All-Madden level. We recognise that in the past couple of Madden releases, the CPU has become far more challenging and at times, cheesy, when tackled on A-M level.

I realise more than most of you that when you have a team of limited ability, this can be very frustrating when CPU backups look like GOAT players. Nevertheless, for the time being, we are sticking with all-Madden but will review it again after week 4.

I urge everyone to play their games when they have cpu games - or even H-H games - during this period and give us feedback on how you find the game. So please don't duck out and allow a sim because that is not the point of this league.

We want to get it right so that CPU games are challenging rather than impossible but without feedback it's difficult for us to gauge whether we have the sliders right or not.

i`ve just played against Chargers
CPU`s qb seem to be not tough, but their ol and dl are really fantastic!
Rivers could stay in pocket for 10 seconds or abiut this. and my qb`s got billions of sacks and Mahomes got injuried. Inside runs were stopped immediatly. ihad to play for dl myself to hurry up Rivers.
Any opinions?

Haven't had a cpu game yet but played a "play now" with the league sliders yesterday and thought it was a reasonable test.

Seems you both had different experiences. Why was the SF-LAR game vs cpu?

You can see my vid in the game reports section for some gameplay footage, was quite terrified playing the cpu on the road but it ended up being fairly easy.

Running from my side was tough in the 1st half but Freeman turned it up a notch in the 2nd ending the game with 120 yrds.

Got a lot of pressure and sacks from good coverage when the cpu Lions didn't get any sacks.

Just general feeling the ratings mattered in this one.
