Game 3 new cpu sliders

Seemed more balanced pass and run had over hundred across 3 rbs ,still challenge to get qb but saw improvement compare to last slider. While cpu seemed to have easier time

66 man v 88 route -reaction time and coverage  Seemed dodgy

I played @Xipie last night and thoroughly enjoyed it... Passing and rushing seemed far more realistic than previous Maddens and the defence seems to follow assignments.

The only ? I would have would be against some of the Int's. Not complaining about the int's but more the throws that created them. The ball seemed to travel slower than expected and ended up with a receiver nowhere in sight and easy picks. This happened to both of us.

Generally though, loved the game and the realism it offered.

Yet to play a H-H game. I thin the main problem is with the cpu games.

all madden CPU will always be a cheese/cheat fest tbh.

i really cant solve that cause its just the game coding.

the game just blatantly cheat.

the only reason i prefer it over all pro is because all pro is to easy nd you really need to handcuff yourself if you want to enjoy it.

i can just lower the rate of the cheating by lowering sliders.

I just wonder how will we play vs CPU? it looks like it would be either cheesy plays all day long w/o guaranteed win or a lose (both are no fun).
At the same time sim with pre-set win to human is not a great option.

my game today vs the cpu seemed pretty decent besides the pass blocking.

people just need to make the best of it for themselves as well though.

there are no magical cpu sliders that fit everyone.

based on people comments i can adjust them to their liking and that is about it.

Yesterday I played against Seattle. There were no many flags for roughing the passer, but I got two and he got no one. Two flags got undesciplined and balanced trait players. But in this game we had 5 or 6 injuries for both of us. That's too much)

I played my final pre season game yesterday against the Bengals and got slapped. Noticed that Dalton, Green, Hill and all other starters for the Bengals played the entire game while my starters only played one 1st qtr drive. Anybody else had this happen as I can't ever recall this happening in previous Maddens.

The CPU games are f***ing ridiculous. Watson looked like Steve Young spinning away from sacks. I'd rather a Sim than play a CPU glitch game, better things to do lol

Side note if you actually play in a true simstyle  i.e don't call the same play more than twice All-Pro is actually decent I find but whatever

I'm with you on the cpu games; admittedly my team is not great and not helped by Kizer's week 2 injury in preseason.

I'm not sure about the 2 plays per game though. I read an interesting article about Peyton Manning the other day, who worked levels plays most of the time. So I suppose he wasn't sim.

I found in my first H-H game that it was reasonable enough but pressure through what is a decent o-line was happening all the time and the turnovers are still too frequent.

The levels concept can be used multiple times to attack defences. Saints run the concepts but from various formations and personnel groupings. So the running back may run the low level, the next play its a TE. That is the variation I'm talking about
I mean the actual same play twice from the exact same formation

I think they have changed the pre-season starting lineups week-by-week this year. In week 3, my starters played three quarters before the back-up (or rather 3rd string) QB came in.
I think in week two, they played until Half time and week 1 was only one quarter.

Ok, get your point. I agree that people shouldn't running the same play all the time, but only twice a game I think is a bit stingy. And what's your view on running plays? Or are you only talking about passing? The thing is, we all have different views on this; some people don't like passes to RBs and TEs, or the same receiver being targeted over and over. I've been a culprit on the latter thing myself at times, but it's often been the case that my other idiotic receivers either can't run the routes, drop the ball or can't get open. Now that EA have kindly reduced Josh Gordon to an also-ran and with slow development as well, I shouldn't have this problem as they are now officially all useless.

Twice is probably an exaggeration but I don't think you'd call a play more than 3 times in a game irl they'd switch on, but like you said personal preference. My greatest enjoyment on offence is the moving of players around the formations. Just when people are running the same play over and over it just gets spammy.

Like for me its about match ups. So if your opponent plays a lot of man then you call man beaters. If he plays cover 3 predominately then your calling those outs, verticals or flooding zones. Same on defence your opponent always wants to run outside I'll play the edges hard then its the chess match that plays out after that.

Running is totally different as its more concepts inside/outside zone. Power. But again same formation same play type OVER AND OVER AGAIN then its different
