Week 10 game - New England Patriots @ Indianapolis Colts

Good game Matty. Shame your rookie RB was on the losing team as he had a monster day!

Cleveland 23-21 Pittsburgh

Another tight game between these two divisional rivals saw the Browns edge the Steelers, courtesy of a last-gasp FG by Cody Parkey as the clock expired.

The game had got off to the worst possible start for the visitors as vertically-challenged WR Cleon Salsberry not only showed a nice turn of pace, but faked out a couple of Cleveland defenders as he returned Parkey's opening kick-off for a TD. But a patient drive orchestrated by Blake Bortles culminated in a TD pass to Corey Coleman, who is beginning to emerge as a real threat this season. The Steelers had to punt on their first series and the Browns looked set to take the lead until Gary Barnidge got blasted on a catch and fumbled the ball, SS Shamarko Thomas forcing it free and making the recovery.

But the Steelers were to squander their next possession, with rookie QB Wesley Hawley, who it must be said had a very good game overall, attempting to go long, only to be picked off by evergreen Joe Haden, who made a spectacular one-handed catch. Bortles then got to work and the Browns went ahead with around 5 seconds left to play in the half, when he found Josh Gordon open in the endzone.

Half: Cleveland 14-7 Pittsburgh

The Browns had to punt with their first possession of the 3rd quarter, but the Steelers couldn't capitalise and Hawley was picked again, this time by rookie SS Markus Kirk-Hughes, registering his 2nd career interception - the first of which was in the Browns-Steelers game two weeks earlier. This time, the Browns were to find the endzone again when man coverage left Gary Barnidge open and Bortles fired in the pass. But Cody Parkey missed the ensuing extra point to leave coach Dawg with a nagging feeling that this game might not quite be in the books just yet, as the 4th quarter was about to commence.

And sure enough, the missed PAT seemed to galvanise the Pittsburgh offense. Young QB Hawley began to pick the Browns' defense apart, combined with some powerful runs from Bell, who had previously been ineffective. The result was that the next drive ended in a TD to Markus Wheaton to close the gap to 6 and although the Cleveland offense did make a little progress on their next drive, it stalled and they again had to call on Andy Lee, who boomed a punt deep into the Steelers' endzone. Unfazed with a long field ahead of him, the Steelers' QB again marched his troops downfield and left coach Dawg cursing that he had failed to cover the fake flip to Bell, who trundled in for the go-ahead score.

Just over 2 minutes were left to play and although the visitors only needed a FG, coach Dawg was concerned that Parkey's confidence might have been dented by the earlier PAT miss. But Bortles, who had an outstanding game, once again got his 2 minute offense to work and left Parkey with only a 24-yarder to kick, which he duly did as the clock expired.

The Browns' season will now be defined with what happens in the next 3 weeks, as they face consecutive tough road games at Atlanta, Kansas City and Baltimore.

MVP: Blake Bortles, 32/38, 300 yds, 3 TD
