Pittsburgh 21-24 Cleveland

The Browns endured an uncomfortable last couple of minutes after Le'Veon Bell busted off an 80 yard run to set up a late Steelers score to close the gap to 3 points. Bell's previous 10 rushing attempts had yielded only 7 yards and after catching the pass from Hawley on a Texas route, it meant the Steelers had a chance if they could then recover the onside kick. But it was not to be as the Browns hands team came up trumps to close out a game that was arguably closer than it should have been.

Earlier, the Browns had taken the lead through a Gordon TD, after having knocked on the door in their previous drive, only for Pitta to fumble inside the 10. Pitta was on the field as the Browns sustained another injury, this time to TE Gary Barnidge. As yet, there is no news how long Barnidge might be out.
The visitoprs squared the game as Ladarius Green broke tackles to take it in from 69 yards before Pitta made amends just before the break to restore the Browns' lead.

Into the second half, and Cody Parkey missed a chip shot FG with the wind behind him, which would have increased the Browns' lead to 10, before somehow Duke Johnson managed to wriggle through the Pittsburgh defense to make it 21-7. A Bell receiving TD cut the deficit to 7, before Parkey made amands with a 47 yd FG into a stiff wind. As they say in the US - go figure.

The game appeared to be petering out before Bell's last-gasp heroics, but it proved to be too little, too late. Both teams now enter their bye weeks before squaring off again at Heinz Field in Week 10.
