International Series Games!

Post by bigjimmyaston on Tue 13 Dec 2016 - 15:12

The 2017 NFL London Games schedule is:
The Nail Bitter
Baltimore Ravens at Jacksonville Jaguars (Wembley, September 24 or October 1*)

Following two previous wins at Wembley, the Jacksonville Jaguars return for their fifth London home game and this time take on the Baltimore Ravens lead by Super Bowl-winning Quarterback, Joe Flacco. Each time these teams have met in the last three seasons, every game has been decided by a single score.
The High Scoring Game
New Orleans Saints at Miami Dolphins (Wembley, September 24 or October 1*)
.
Dolphins’ London's RB Jay Ajayi goes up against the Saints’ future Hall of Fame QB, Drew Brees in what promises to be a high scoring game between two teams who are stacked on offense.
Heated Divisional Rivalry
Arizona Cardinals at Los Angeles Rams (Twickenham, October 22 or 29*)

London hosts only its third divisional clash, as the Rams return to Twickenham to face the Cardinals who boast the exciting talents of David Johnson, Patrick Peterson and Larry Fitzgerald
The Ultimate Underdog
Minnesota Vikings at Cleveland Browns (Twickenham, October 22 or 29*)
.
Get behind one of the NFL's most historic teams and the ultimate underdogs, the Cleveland Browns. Become a part of the Dawg Pound in what is set to be a thrilling contest against Adrian Peterson and his Minnesota Vikings.

Not sure what you mean. In any event, the Browns Backers Club I am in is trying to create a dawg pound on the east side of the stadium so await news on that.

Good place to stay is Marylebone. Direct overground train straight to Wembley you don't get caught up in any mess for the tubes. Also theres a sports bar in the station that will be open for all the games till late and has gamepass.

Also opposite the station is the landmark hotel and it's one of the most popular hotels for teams to stay whilst they visit. The one year I was talking with Vikings cheerleaders, Greg Jennings and thanking Duante Culpepper for going to Miami instead of Brees.

He didn't take it well  Laughing

If you want something cheap but decent with a good breakfast, there's nothing wrong with the various Premier Inns and Travelodges around London.

Marylebone Travelodge - across the road from the station, right in the middle of London if you want to do the tourist parts. Rates look pretty good at the moment as well.

Booked up for the Ravens game up in the nosebleeds. Chose that of the 2 purely because my sister likes the American announcer saying "Jag-wires"
