San Diego 13-23 Cleveland

The Browns rounded off their home campaign by defeating the San Diego Chargers in what was a meaningless fixture for both sides.

Cleveland effectively put the game away in the 1st quarter as they raced into a 20-0 lead, courtesy of TDs from Duke Johnson Jr, Josh Gordon and Gary Barnidge.

The Bolts managed to put a couple of FGs on the board before half time as Rivers began to carve the Browns' defense apart but cvouldn't find the killer punch.

Cleveland went on a clock-chewing drive in the 3rd quarter which resulted in a Cody Parkey FG and Rivers finally found the Browns' end zone in Q4 when he hooked up with Dontrelle Inman on a 37 yd score. But it was too little, too late and the home team saw out the game after Bortles and Rivers swapped picks on back-to-back plays.

For both teams, the end of the season can't come quickly enough and both will hope for better times in 2017.

Cincinnati Bengals @ Houston Texans

It was all over when: Malcolm Butler intercepted a pass intended for a man and zone covered AJ Green with 20 seconds left on the clock.

Key Stat: 13 receptions for 178 yards and 2 TD's to the RB/TE combination of Miller and Bennett of the Texans. With the WR's being well-covered by a strong CB tandem, the Texans had to concentrate on their quick options against the Bengals blitzes.

Game Ball awards:
MVP: With a lack of options, this gets given to Lamar Miller. Against a wall of Bengal defenders, he carried 20 times for 41 yards, but 7 receptions for 90 yards and 2 key 3rd down receiving Touchdowns make for another game-changing game for the NFL's leading Rusher who also added a 3rd TD on the ground.
Houston: JJ Watt. A 2nd Field Goal block of the season for the monster DE. At the time, losing 17-14, Watt steamed through the line and blocked the kick, with the ensuing drive resulting in the game-winning TD.
Cincinnati: In a sparse game for stats, the Bengals LB corps led by Burfict dominated Lamar Miller who leads the league in rushing yards with a gap of 250 to the next best, SS Iloka added 4 tackles and 7 assists in the stacked Bengals box.

Noteworthy: Texans QBs combined for 20/31, 293 yards with Osweiler having 2 TDs and 2 INTs, though the 2nd one was a deep throw with 10 seconds remaining on the clock and the Texans in time wasting mode.... Andy Dalton completed less than half of his passes for 216 yards, a TD and a pick.... Jeremy Hill had only 12 carries for 50 yards.... Brock Osweiler again fumbled which was returned for a TD.... The other Bengals TD was scored by the speedster, Byrd.... Tyler Eifert led the Bengals in receptions.... Watt and Simon scored sacks for the Texans with Onyemata getting the lone Bengals sack.... Kirkpatrick and Adam Jones picked off Osweiler with the afore-mentioned Butler sealing the game with the lone Bengals turnover of the game.... Mike Nugent was 1/3 on FGs, missing a 54 yarder as well as the kick blocked by JJ Watt....

Final Score

11-4 Cincinnati Bengals 17 - 21 Houston Texans 8-7

Good Luck in the play-offs to the AFC North Champion, @flashmore!

The Texans are now facing a 4-way fight to make the play-offs, with a win definitely needed against the Titans to stand any chance.

Divisional Titles: 4 - AFC South - 3 (Jacksonville Jaguars x1, Houston Texans x 2), AFC West - 1 (San Diego Chargers)
Play-off appearances: 5 - Play-off wins: 1
Owner of the 306yd rushing game with Lamar Miller.
