Tipped Interceptions
Tipped Interceptions
As we are now nearly through a season, I was reflecting on the game in general and certainly in our league - and I think this is simply a "feature" of the game generally - the thing that annoys me most (apart from being unable to run) are tipped interceptions.
The regularity with which they happen is unsim, in my opinion. The chances are that when a pass gets disrupted, it will normally cannon off a receiver's hand and go town and hit the turf. Admittedly, sometimes the ball does get tipped off fingertips and go upwards, but not to the extent that it happens in Madden 17 and normally not where the ball balloons invitingly up in the air - sometimes quite a distance - where a grateful defender hauls it in. Normally that is more likely to happen when a ball is tipped at the LoS.
Talking of the LoS has made me think of another instance - that being where the QB is trying to get a pass off under pressure and finds a suddenly-agile D-liner is able to react at lightning speed and scoop up an INT almost off the floor. I'd wager that most of them would take about a week to get down that far in RL.
Just my two cents.

Re: Tipped Interceptions
I had multiple interceptions like this in my most recent game. I'd argue that 70% of my interception have happened this way this season. It's very frustrating, as has my season been.

Re: Tipped Interceptions
yeah they are quite ridiculous this madden tbh.
dont think we can fix that though.
could elect to make running a lil bit easier but i actually like the ypc that many of the rbs have.
seems to be around the 4 to 5 ypc.
seems you either have a big run to get 100 yards or you need to hit around 20 carries to get it.
i have a shitty o-line though so i cant really talk.

Re: Tipped Interceptions
Rushing numbers might suggest it looks legit

Re: Tipped Interceptions
Rushing is fine against User Teams but impossible vs CPU.
Bigger issue for me is that Receivers drop the ball vs any contact whatsoever.
D-L get very little pressure on the QB as well. Unless it is the CPU chasing them!
And I'm not sure if it is the game or the sliders, but QBs are way too slow behind the line of scrimmage.
