DAP's Week 8 Review

Post by MCFCDAP on Wed 19 Oct 2016, 8:21 am

Week 8 is in the books and the trade deadline has passed with some major activity taking place! The Seahawks moved Richard Sherman to the Patriots for 2 1st's and 2 2nd's in the upcoming draft, the Patriots did grab a first rounder back as they traded Devon McCourty to the Buccaneers.

Back to the action, and the Chiefs got back to winning ways defeating the Colts 23-6, and the other team with just one defeat is the Lions who convincingly beat the Texans 24-3.

The other 2 teams in the AFC South faced off against each other and thanks for an impressive Jaguars defense they won 23-13 to keep their play off hopes alive.

The Saints finally had something to cheer about as they were the only NFC South team to win, defeating Seattle 12-10, the Falcons lost to the Packers, the Buccaneers lost to the Raiders and the Panthers were beaten by the Cardinals.

The Eagles continued their resurgence with a big divisional win over the Cowboys and took top spot in the division on 5-2. The Redskins were beaten by the Bengals, while the Giants had their bye week.

Other wins this week came for the Jets, Vikings and Broncos.

My Week 9 Game of the Week sees the Colts and the Packers go head to head!

Half way lads, been a great season so lets keep it up!
