If your good enough you will get picked no matter what.
These players need to believe there good enough and work hard instead of getting money then relaxing because there happy with what they got. So when they getvthere chance they need to be ready and show even the tinniest bit of potential when they can.
Micky Gray was on Talksport this morning talking about the total lack of respect from Academy players nowadays.

He said that when he was 15/16 and invited to train with the first team, he still knocked on the first team dressing room door because he knew his place and knew they would give him loads if he just walked in.

He said when he was 17/18 and establishing himself, he was part of the dressing room but still knew his place and as other apprentices followed his path, they went through the same as him.

He said that he retired when he saw apprentices and trainees showing a lack of respect to staff and fellow pros who had done their time, and that the money has destroyed the game.

Was it McEachran at Chelsea that was earning £60k per week aged 18 and was out on loan the next season?

What? He only had 7 games! 3 in the league, one in the Europa League and 1 in the League cup. Hardly enough to judge him properly.

All manager make mistakes about players and this was probably Fergie's biggest.

@patriotscpfc wrote:Dap, I was talking to a GK Coach who used to play for the Palace academy today, and in the past, he's told me about how he doesn't particularly rate or trust Hart anymore.

He went on to talk about him being slow for a shot-stopping Keeper, and not great at distribution. And in his opinion, he's nowhere near the right fit for a Guardiola Keeper.

Something I noticed but it might be crap is he seems to be weak diving to his left. He gets there but doesn't save it strongly or deal with it well.

Has that been an issue at City? I didn't see much of the 2nd half of last season as I only watch MOTD if Palace have avoided defeat!

Hart has been poor for the last 2 years mate, as i said make some great saves but most keepers can make them.

His distribution is shocking, absolutely shocking!  I can't see Pep sticking with him at all, but we probably need to keep him around for home grown status ... maybe a bit of competition might make him work harder and he can get back in but right now, he has to be seen as easily replaced.

Butland has to be given his England chance, i like Forster but we have to look a bit more to the future and Butland is the future in my eyes

There are strong rumours that my Everton are going to make a move for Hart. I f***ing hope not.

Mani will probably disagree with me but I don't get why people think Pogba's all that. Just my two pennies worth.

In a perfect world Pogba would never be worth of 100 million. But with the prices you see around (DeBruyne 70 and so many other) i think we could find someone open to spend that amount of pounds.

Believe me, he is very special. And he is only scratching the surface of his talent. I think we don't have the power to keep him too long, maybe this season, but not sure...
