SUGGESTION FOR STREAMING GAMES

Post by manidifata on Tue 16 Feb 2016, 7:25 pm

Hy All,

After three season in other franchises, i would like to suggest to try YOUTUBE to stream games. It's pretty simple to set up an account on it, most of us probably already have it.
The improvement respect Twitch i saw are:
1. you can choose the quality of the transmission based on your connection, lowering the risk of disconnection or bad views or lag
2. A total difference for mobile. I watch at least 4-5 games at week on youtube from my iPhone and it's always smooth and fluid. When i saw from twitch was really difficult to follow
3. Game automatically saved, and free for all. Big library and opportunity to see it again whenever you want. For all, For the committee, for example to watch if everything was good and cross check if any rules have been broke.

It's only a suggestion, it's my experience, just my two cents.

Once you press "share" and select to stream games, the screen will give you 4 options, 4 channels:
USTREAM, TWITCH, YOUTUBE, DAILYMOTION

select youtube and, the first time, access with your account. Will be the lonely time the PS will request you to access into youtube. Once you have setup, everytime you decided to stream, press share and youtube and you will be Live on your channel.

Once the game is finished, after a fair amount to render the stream, the game will be saved and seeable everyday by everyone, just linking on your channel.

Point 1 & 2 aren't really valid. You can choose the quality of your stream on twitch before the broadcast as well. And I've watched a game on the twitch mobile app which wasn't a problem either.

Regarding point 3, you can select archiving games for 2 weeks on twitch, selectively highlighting certain games which will be saved for a much longer time, not sure if it's indefinitely.
