Gents, call me old fashioned, but it seems there are 2 separate issues here. Firstly, just like last season but reversed, PA is still kinda broke.

Secondly, the cpu controls the vast majority of players on a pitch in H2H and because of this the defensive cpu controlled players all play at a much higher level than their ratings would suggest, particularly in certain situations - namely, PA.

Given the above, and it seems we are all agreed, It is common sense that generic sliders are clearly not a 'one size fits all' solution (as EA would have us believe). Therefore, by altering sliders to levels that make PA more realistic other things will certainly suffer as a direct result.

But, it seems that the work that Tru and the committee have done on sliders has been quite extensive - which leads me to think that there may not be much more wiggle room without causing a problem elsewhere.

It's easy for me to suggest 'more experimentation' but that means more time put in by guys.

One more thing - have the sliders been adjusted for cpu opponents? I know i've only just got the game (and am not very good) but on the league settings i am getting absolutely annihilated by the cpu in all of the handful of games i have played? Poor QB's are going 21/23 and my QB's are awful - plus the drops of course?

As this season is coming towards the final quarter maybe we should be looking to fix whatever is fixable before next season starts?

They have been toned down several times actually. I don't really think there is too much more we can do now before the close season when maybe we will endeavour to come up with a better solution.

In the past, we have gone with a set of sliders and that has pretty much been it. This year it has proved more problematic than any of us envisaged it would. Either that or tru has just done a lousy job. Take your pick. I might put it to the vote.

my solution is to not use PA as much or use it in situations where it might work lol.

ive seen people try it on 2nd and 3rd and long and well if people are playing the pass its not going to work.

last year a lot of people where abusing PA online and EA decided to tweak it a lot.
they probably have gone over board like they always do and this is the result.

i can go around and adjust sliders but its just to end up creating other issues.

if i raise pass blocking it might work but its going to also give you more time when using other pass plays as well so creating a bigger issues.

same with anything else id adjust.

if people want me to change stuff then id be inclined to do it as long as people understand the consequences of what they are requesting and im not going to here any moaning about it down the road.

i call at most 4 PA passes a game and maybe gets sacked on 1 which is most of the time my mistake for waiting to long to make the pass.
