Resign Tutorial Empty Resign Tutorial

Since ill be adding some rules to resigning your own players and what is allowed in making bids on FA in the offseason i decided to make a short vid to show how easy it is to resign a player without risking losing him by making to many bad offers over the course of weeks.
you can figure out pretty early who wants to stick around or who wants to test FA.

now at the start you will see where to go to resign players.
this can be at the soonest week 1 all the way to week 17.

now once i go into my resigning screen you will see the status of the player.
it can be: interested , not interested , signed or negotiating.
top right you will see the cap space you have and you can also see what the tag number would be.

now once you click on a player you can start negotiating.
this screen will show you how what the players desires in terms of years and total value of the contract.
Webb in this case wants a 1 year deal worth of 7.7 mil.

at this point i can decide how many years i want to give him and how much of the total sum will be salary or bonus.

i decided to give him 4.5 mil in bonus and 3 mil in sal to see if he would take a lil bit less.

NOW the KEY here is that the game will tell you that his agent will get back to you next week.
This is wrong as you will see his status already went from interested to negotiating.
Nothing at this point will stop you from going back and change the details of the contract.
Instead of waiting a week i went back and offered him what he wanted and he signed right away.

This is the best way to try and get a deal done cause you can make as many offers as you want and the status wont change to not interested.
The only way it can become not interested is after a few advances of offering contracts.

Be aware though that some players wil simply refuse to resign.
Gilmore and Exum ive offered alot of deals but they wont budge so they will probaly end up in FA.
