This is not real life, its a game, and if you make the right read you should be rewarded without having to worry about the QB missing a slant by 20 yards or a bum DB playing like Sherman or Revis. These sliders let the worst players play like all pros.

Well Manziel was missing completions in my last game by a country mile.

I have no issue with the fact that offense is more difficult and that punters have to earn their corn. I have no issue with low-scoring games, which seem to be a feature this season so far. I do think there are too many turnovers though.

Turnovers is due to not quite good rated players with man or zone playing like sherman, revis or pp or smith or talib

Exactly, why the sliders need adjusting. Put the DB reactions at 65 or so, 100 is just ludicrous.

Let us think on the part of game balance game designer.

Game balance is very important in video games. Why?
Because, if your game very easy - it would be boring for the player. If it gonna very hard - player will suck and stop to play your game.
What is right way of game balance: we make practice and low level mobs at the beginning of our game and rise difficult level through. Players get used to Our game and become more tougher. They don't get bored at the beginning and don't suck toward the end.

What we have here. Be honest, we all suck. We played right now with very hard sliders with the prospect of that in near future we all become better players. That's why we are not play realistic! In fact, in real life there only 6 teams have less than 20 point per game. Here we have - 20!

Better solution were to make sliders little bit easier, that we may play like more realistic. Get more fun from the game and get better in this, new for us, game. When we become better in game, statistic become higher, then we should make slider little bit difficult. After time we become more better and we slider little bit difficult. And so on.

well the reaction time of pass defenders has been dropped and QB accuracy has been increased.

lets see how that goes the coming weeks.

Even though I'm struggling I've just been unlucky in a few of my games & that's my fault with bad throws & not mixing it up enough the only problem I have with this madden is confidence ok if ur confident ul play better but the only stat that should b adjusted is ur awareness or prc not ur man zone etc u can't play any better then ur ability otherwise it's gonna get silly some of my players r on 0 confidence & have lost 6-8 points on there stats with this confidence thing the teams winning r just gonna have ppl playing out of there skin & the losing teams players playing worse

Ive been using confidence workouts to help off-balance my many low confidence players- but that means I'm not increasing any of my xp points. Twisted Evil

The confidence thing is a joke! It is nearly impossible to recover once it is low!

It also adds too much of boost when it is high, you should see my roster Smile

that's funny because I didn't see your playbook - here's the video to prove I showed my pb but where was your pb???
http://www.twitch.tv/thechampsuper/c/5265751

Also why are you bring it up here, wrong forum for this - Dawg specifically stated regarding playbooks - "If you have a complaint about an opponent, then send a pm to me."

Re: THE EAFL

Post by RedskinUK on Fri 10 Oct 2014 - 8:42

I got smashed off the CPU in my last game, was fuming for a few hours after that, then I went back and looked at how the game played out, fumbled on the opening kick off (Dallas TD), fumbled on next possession at my 30 when RGIII got hit coming out of another hit ( Dallas FG) then failed on a 3rd and inches and Dallas got the ball back and scored a TD, I was chasing the game from then on and made so many poor decisions as I just focused on my 1st read and never once went through my progressions. The only one of those TO was the last one when the CB was running deep with the WR so I threw it underneath to a wide open TE when the CB turned on a dime and came back for the pick, watch it on my highlights and see what you think !!

But apart from that one INT this is how a game should be, you make a poor read you should be punished, I for one am going to try and alter the way I play before I call any sliders, time for lots of practice using these sliders in an offline franchise.

I think that is spot on mate! Everything wants to play the way they always have done and this Madden is different, its smarter and will punish you.

You need to know your QBs limits, you need to make the right read and sometimes just take a sack or throw it away instead of trying to force the pass when off balance.

You arent going to complete every 30+ yard pass you attempt like before, you need to be clever and build a drive, not expect high scoring, 1 min TD scoring drives, you need to keep the ball and the chains moving!

That is sim, that is how the NFL is! If you play poorly, you are punished!

I've stayed out of this discussion as I assumed all my abysmal passes were down to Ryan Fitzpatrick being an abysmal passer.

But now I've got Peyton and am overthrowing a wide open Wes Welker on a mesh route 5 yards past the line of scrimmage and it's just getting a bit silly. It's not even the playoffs so Manning should be fine!

I have a theory about that. It might be a complete load of bollocks but it's this: Have you ever had a receiver, wide open, aimed for him and the pass misses wildly and Jim Nantz says: "No one was open"? Me too.

I think it's when the defence has called, if you like, the right coverage and although the players don't always quite go where they should, it has an effect on the QB throws. May be a load of garbage but this has happened for quite a few seasons now.

Manning was throw everything right on target until he's confidence dropped.  It  doesn't make since, even with lowers ratings due to low confidence he's still one of the highest rated qb's.
Anyway, I still think confidence effects he's throwing more than just having lower ratings due to low confidence.

confidence means alot along side with planting your feet and the amount of pressure your getting.

certain QB traits might be very important in this case.
