Games vs the CPU

Post by GBDawg1 on Sat 05 Apr 2014, 10:22 pm

As we have a few vacancies at the moment and my guess is that it will stay that way now until Madden 15, could I remind you/ask you that:

1. Games must not be restarted against the cpu.
2. As you can play the cpu whenever you like, please do not leave it until the last minute. I will not wait around for people to finish games if I am ready to advance. There is no excuse for playing them at the last minute.

One small problem that happened to me, in my game against Dallas at Cowboys stadium, because they play in white as the home team i forgot and picked my white kit as well which caused a few problems, I knew I couldn't restart the game so carried on. As Dallas are now CPU controlled this will happen to everyone who plays @ Dallas so make sure you don't pick your white kit.

I have noticed that this season there have been a number of simmed games against the cpu.

This has always been the case over the years, mostly because some of the better players found they were "boring". No one can say they are boring this season, as a lot of players are having great difficulty in taking down the cpu.

It makes you wonder now whether people are dodging the games because they'd prefer to take their chances with a sim. However, the idea of the league is to play the games, so please play them.

We'll be noting who does and who doesn't from now on.

It appears that simmed games vs the cpu appear to be o the rise again. We accept that this may happen occasionally, but when an opponent has given advance warning that he is on AP and you have 3 or 4 days to play your game, such instances should be rare.

Our league detective will be keeping an eye on such occurrences in future.

I had a cpu sim vs Raiders, but that's as I didn't hear back from my opponent.

sim games have an added risk of injuries.

id recommend to take the loss rather then have a decimated team for rest of the season lol

Yeah- I lost Cushing for 3 weeks and Flynn for 32 weeks. Whilst there is the argument to be made that this is a good thing, it's now left Ryan Fitzpatrick as my starter...

Sorry bud but I left on the 25th March so the Raiders were Cpu controlled at the time

No worries mate, didn't realise.

And Tru, apparently it's a broken femur, although rumours abound in Houston that it was actually a shattered ability...

Injuries dont just happen in simmed games, i've just lost Brady for 8 weeks! AJ McCarron to lead us to the play-offs?? I think not!
