Now now stang. You've changed your tune quickly. He was going to be the 6th quarter back drafted according to you. What changed your mind?

I genuinely am excited to see him in the NFL and hope he drops in the first ala rodgers amd gets a massive f**k xhip on his shoulder.

Yeah, a 30 year old guy with a neck injury who hasn't played in 3 years due to said neck injury. That'll end well...

Green Bay was the only team that didn't clear Nick Collins to start with. He's been "cleared" to play for 2 years by all accounts.

Fantastic player when healthy and as much as I'd like to see him play again - (he'd be great for us) he did have a very f**k up neck, not like an ACL which is probably why he's not had a call from another team since.

He's still 1000000000000000x better than what we have. It's a long shot, but it would be a great story. Packers need to upgrade the FS position badly, whether thats a FA like Collins, Byrd, or Ward or the draft.

Stang is like the EAFL's Karl Pilkington. I can't tell if it's just someone playing a character or not.

Bills confirm they will not tag Jairus Byrd. This is great news, Packers need Byrd, and Byrd needs the the Packers, perfect match. I say 6 yrs $58m should do the trick.

Revolting.

Haslam is changing the Browns jersey - next season I think - and I am dreading what they might do.

So, goodbye to TJ Ward (Denver) and DQ Jackson (Indianapolis).

Hello to Donte Whitner and Karlos Dansby.

And daring to dream...Revis....maybe?

There will be a very happy man in Dai this morning when he reads the Saints have signed Byrd! A really statement!

Bucs look set to release Revis, shocking decision, just pay the man, hes the best there is!!

Not signing FA's per usual. I swear to God TT is a freaking idiot. When you have a glearing hole at FS, and other holes at NT, TE, MLB, and backup QB. Yet this fool isn't doing anything. At least sign freaking FS Chris Clemons. It has been proven that you cannot solely rely on the damn draft, especially when his recent 1st round picks other than a couple have sucked. We have $30m of cap, and he isn't putting it to good use. I swear the sooner he get's fired/resigns the better.

And lol at the Aints. They have zero cap, yet here they are paying $50+m to a safety. Will they even have enough cap to keep Graham? Next on their chopping block is Drew Brees, and I doub't he's going anywhere lol.

It's claimed last night that Revis could land either in Oakland or Cleveland.

I don't even want to dare to dream. It is beginning to look as though Haslam is fed up hanging around with the rebuilding process.

Not bad math there on the contract Stang. Buzzing with that, Vaccaro and Byrd over the middle....

Once again Stang you lack of knowledge with the rest of the NFL shines through. The reason why we had "no cap" is because of Grahams tag, an extension lowers that cap. Plus we can free up 9m with restructures of Grubbs, Colston and Evans (we have not restructured any contracts). Loomis is banking on the cap blowing up over the next few years (which it already has) now its a gamble I'll admit but when you got a HoF QB you get aggressive.

Don't be bitter that we paid the money to Byrd and made it happen. You even said yourself the number to sign him lol.  Razz

Also as of next year Brees can easily do a Brady and convert his remaining 3 years into guaranteed cash to lower the cap.
