Cheltenham Festival

Post by patriotscpfc on Mon 11 Mar 2013, 11:06 pm

I won't be around until very, very late Friday night as tomorrow morning, I trek down to Cheltenham to stay with my Uncle and his family for 4 days of quality racing and very cold weather.

Anyone got any fancies for this week?

Saying that, I've got all mine picked out and on a nice laminated card in my suit pocket!

William Hill are offering 11/10 on Hurricane Fly insure 3 places for today. Looks a steal to me.

I'm also on Simonsig & My Tent or Yours today.

I took advantage of the Coral offer of evens on Sprinter Sacre too. Max bet allowed was only £20 but it looks like free money to me though! Smile

Sprinter Sacre!! What a horse! Smashed it by 19 lengths and Geraghty was pretty much motionless throughout. William Hill had a great offer on this race - 11/8 for Sizing Europe to win without Sprinter Sacre so I won a nice amount from this race.

Shame I lost on Pont Alexandre & Saphir Du Rheu though.

Only horse I'm on for tomorrow at the moment is Hunt Ball in the 4.00.

Had The New One and Godsmejudge each way. Changed my mind late on the Bumper and went with Shield instead of Mullins/Ruby. Idiot.

Carnage today....I've gone for a cheeky six selections at decent prices, 2 in will more than cover the rest of my week.

As an FYI. If you open a Sky Account they'll give you £10 free bet no deposit. I've opened up an account and got the mrs to do the same.

Started and ended the festival with a winner.

Ended up about £50 down plus my expenses and tickets etc.

I enjoyed it all the same!
