40 yards per reception can see why he did it, apart from that he played a few snaps where they couldn't get the ball to Bailey or used Bailey as a distraction on a running play, that said he can't have played more than 10 offensive snaps for the Broncos but it falls under the same category as Furrey for me.

didn't troy brown for the patriots play both nickle CB and 3rd receiver?

Yeah, good point, don't think he was consistently as high as 3rd receiver though i'm sure he played out of the slot a few times a game.

I think Mike Furrey had a 90 reception season so i'm not sure its the same.

If you play 160 games you should end up with more than 4 receptions by mistake at least

lolz bailey played receiver in another decade.
this is a simm leaugue and we are trying to be like the nfl is at this moment not 10 years ago.
so i can just take any fast cb and put him in the slot and just throw him screens or slants.
hell ed reed has the best hands on my team.
and fabian washingtons speed was in a different class last year.

i dont agree with the cb as wr crap as not 1 cb also plays wr nowadays and certainly not be succesfull at it. offense stays offense and defense stays defense special teams is whoever ya want lolz.

guys this is a simm league meaning where trying to simualte the nfl and this crap dont happen there.

Im sorry but the way I look at this is this, i dont care about what position they originally play im talking about why the hell you would want to play that player in a totally different position..

Now lets look at champ baileys case.. Champ Bailey played a bit at wide reciever, hes had a few receptions in the nfl at wide reciever.. He IS a wide reciever.. hes played there before and he has proved that he can play there in the nfl..

Now lets look at darren sproles' case.. Has darren sproles ever played linebacker? Will darren sproles ever play linebacker? Is darren sproles a good linebacker? All of those answers are no the only reason he is there is because of the speed so that he can exploit the game.. IRL He would be completely trampled on but thats not the case on this game..

These two incidents are completely different and tbt should be allowed to carry on playing champ at wide reciever.. HE IS AN 80 OVR RECIEVER AFTER ALL..

Look at these stats for champ, route running: 60, carrying: 64, catching: 64, catch in traffic: 55, its not exactly an unfair advantage when he has stats like that, I just prefer playing him over Gaffney. As I said he has his risks and he has played WR before

The one thing that gives Bailey a slight advantage is that when you pause the game to set up man coverage, you can't actually put any player on him as he's not listed!

If this thread is directed at me due to the Week 1 game against the Chiefs. I was playing 1-5-5 and for some reason Darren Sproles was in as a DB. We ended up losing connection. When I ran 1-5-5 again I noticed that Sproles was in at DB. I have no Idea what was going on. The computer put him in. Im not sure if I dont have enough DBs or what. But do apologize but wasnt intentional.

Maybe we should put this to the vote as it seems to have stirred up quite a bit of controversy. There will be a poll coming.
